Consultation
The Sentencing Advisory Council regularly reviews particular sentencing issues. We are interested in the views of community members and experts on these matters.
We invite people to make submissions to us about issues we are considering, and we will usually publish a paper to explain the issues involved. The paper will include questions that we are wanting to answer. Your submission can answer some or all of the questions that we ask, and you can also include any other information that you want to give us on the issue.
We also hold discussion groups with interested people. If you would like to attend a discussion group instead of (or as well as) making a submission please contact us for upcoming dates.
