Maximum penalties for sexual penetration with a child under 16 Review
The Council's Maximum Penalties for Sexual Penetration with a Child under 16 review has produced three publications:
- a Statistical Report examining sentencing outcomes in Victoria between July 2006 and June 2008 for five sexual penetration offences;
- a consultation paper forming the basis of Sentencing Advisory Council consultations; and
- a Final Report advising on the adequacy of the maximum penalties that apply to the offence of sexual penetration with a child under the age of 16.
