We offer a range of resources to help educate the community about sentencing in Victoria.
You be the Judge
You be the Judge is an educational program designed and delivered by the Sentencing Advisory Council. Participants consider a real-live case to explore the process of imposing a sentence. The aim of You be the Judge is to inform people about the complexities involved in sentencing an offender.
We run face-to-face You be the Judge sessions for community organisations and adult education groups. Contact us if you’d like to learn more about You be the Judge.
Virtual You be the Judge
You be the Judge is available online as an interactive application. You can choose from four real-life cases to learn about the process of sentencing.
