Maximum Penalty for Negligently Causing Serious Injury: Report

Negligently causing serious injury arises from offences where the victim is seriously injured but not killed.

In this report, the Council responds to the Attorney-General’s request for advice on the adequacy of the maximum penalty for this offence under section 24 of the Crimes Act 1958 (Vic), particularly in relation to driving matters.
