Recidivism of Sex Offenders: Research Paper

Recidivism of Sex Offenders examines evidence of the prevalence and nature of sexual offending, the characteristics of sex offenders, recidivism among different types of sex offenders, and the effectiveness of treatment programs. The paper provides background information to support the Council’s review of the merits of introducing a continuing detention scheme in Victoria and the structure of such a scheme, if introduced.
