Review of the Victorian Adult Parole System sets out a package of recommendations that seeks to retain the strengths of the existing parole system while enhancing decision-making guidance for the Adult Parole Board. The recommendations aim to improve the transparency, consistency and accuracy of the Board’s processes and decisions. They also aim to ensure adequate inter-agency coordination and information sharing around the management of parolees.
The Council has published the public submissions that it received for this reference.
