Today the Council has released the sixth edition of its popular A Quick Guide to Sentencing.
The Quick Guide provides a plain-language overview of current Victorian sentencing law and practice. It is written for a general audience including:
- secondary and tertiary students and teachers
- legal practitioners
- journalists
- people who work with or advise those affected by crime
- people who work with or advise those involved in the criminal justice system
- people with an interest in how sentencing operates in Victoria.
